Igienair acquires Valor Services Group.

On the 30th of December 2020, French group Igienair ( acquired the shares of Valor Services Group (, a one-stop shop for industrial cleaning services (industrial kitchens, production and food companies, air purifiers, sanitary facilities, pest control, etc.)  in Belgium and the Netherlands. Valor Services Group is composed of the companies Valor Services, All Kitchen Maintenance, Allindus, GIS/VTO and Alpebro. In 2020, Valor Services Group realized a turnover of 10m EUR and employed 92 people.

At the end of April 2017, Stéphane Goubau and Gérald Goubau acquired De Kobra and Allindus, a strategic fit between a manufacturer of industrial kitchen ventilation systems and a services company. Both firms joined forces in the form of a Smart Deal. Management focused on further professionalisation and wrote a successful buy and build story, supported by SDM-Valorum and a group of private investors. Following the acquisitions of All Kitchen Maintenance, Valor Services, GIS/VTO and Alpebro, the services group quadrupled its revenues and rebranded to ‘Valor Services Group’. De Kobra will continue to operate as an independent business after the acquisition of the services group by Igienair.

Igienair, founded by Evrard de Ponnat in 2003, mainly offers air treatment services, as well as cleaning and maintenance of ventilation systems. The group has more than 26 branches across France, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, UAE and Belgium. Igienair employs over 500 people and serves over 25.000 clients each year. Following this acquisition, Igienair significantly strengthens its market position in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Thierry Desmet, who recently started fulfilling the role of co-CEO next to Stephane Goubau, remains with the group as a minority shareholder and will continue to lead and develop the activities in Belgium and the Netherlands.
